Upon graduation from law school Ms. West practiced civil litigation and represented plaintiffs in injury cases before the circuit court, magistrate courts and municipal courts. She also practiced in the United States District Court and United States Bankruptcy Court. Ms. West began working exclusively in the South Carolina Family Court in 2004 when she was a partner with Masella Law Firm, P.A. in Columbia, South Carolina.
Ms. West joined the Law Office of Richard J. Breibart, LLC, as the leader of the family court litigation department in 2009. She has been sole trial counsel in cases involving issues of custody and relocation issues, equitable division, alimony and termination of parental rights. She also has extensive experience in Department of Social Services matters.
